Connection is one of the most fundamental human needs—yet, for many neurodiverse individuals, it feels like an unsolvable puzzle.
When I first began researching how people connect, my goal wasn’t to understand dark personalities—it was simply to uncover why some people struggle so much to form meaningful relationships. I noticed a consistent pattern: neurodiverse individuals often process connection differently, which makes social engagement feel exhausting, frustrating, or even impossible.
Through my research, I discovered that connection isn’t just about words and actions—it’s about patterns and processing. Some people:
✔️ Struggle with unspoken social cues, leading to misunderstandings.
✔️ Overcompensate by mirroring others, hiding their true personality.
✔️ Feel like outsiders, even when they deeply want to belong.
These challenges don’t stem from a lack of desire for connection—they stem from differences in how people process social dynamics. Understanding this led me to develop The Needs Languages, a framework that explores how individuals connect, communicate, and interpret relationships based on their subconscious patterns.
Why Connection Research Matters
When people understand how they process connection, they can:
✔️ Build stronger relationships without draining themselves.
✔️ Identify patterns that help them connect more authentically.
✔️ Set boundaries that feel natural, not forced.
This research became a tool for self-awareness—but as I went deeper, I discovered another layer. Connection isn’t just about bringing people together—it’s also about how influence works. And that realization led me into my next area of research: dark personalities.
