I have been working on a project for several years now. Some people struggle to comprehend AI working on a project that long. The reason it took so long is due to the data collection.
I did old-school data collection. Yes, looking at articles, even highlighting some of them. I wanted the data to be as accurate as possible. Some say, 'Well, the data might change.' The data I researched is unlikely to change unless there is a massive shift in society.
The data was on how different people view disability.
Why is that important?
Because disability costs in conflict.
With the data collected, I then participated in a few entrepreneur catalyst programs and start-up weekends to determine what I wanted to do with the data.
A significant amount of learning was involved. As a person with a disability, it was scary to be in these programs because I was mostly with people who didn't have disabilities. In fact, one person walked up to me and said, "I have never met a person with a disability before."
This is an example of what biases can look like.
However, through these experiences, I decided to create a chatbot. Currently, the framework is in place.
Today was the day I picked out a name coresure.
